This chapter discusses the implementation status of the IEA Plans, environmental laws, related institutions, intended coordination with institutional mechanism for the implementation, and brief assessment on the implementation conditions of the instruments.
Since the establishment or amendment of law is a cumbersome procedure and is associated with a long duration and numerous efforts, at least for the time being, its implementation has to utilize existing institutional mechanisms for managing land use and other resources concerning the IEA Plan, as well as the various environmental laws and regulations in addition to the laws and regulations on environmental protection areas (see Figure 7.2.3).
In Chapter 7, a realistic approach is described as an application of various institutional mechanisms for land use and resource control, as well as the environmental law application in line with the IEA Plans prepared by the M/P as shown in Figure 8.2.2.
